The Early Childhood Health Consultation program partners with early childhood care & education providers to achieve best practices in child health and safety
The Early Childhood Health Consultation (ECHC) is a free program to support the implementation of best health & safety practices within early childhood care settings.
Currently, the ECHC program offers ongoing guidance statewide through our resource library, monthly webinars, and a fun, informative podcast.
In addition, tailored health consultation services are available to a growing number of early childhood care & education providers across Wisconsin, with the goal of state-wide support. Preview all of our current health consultation service locations through the Impact Map.
The ECHC program aims to provide a sustainable, state-wide model of making health expertise available via a consultation model to improve the quality of Wisconsin early childhood education programs’ health & safety practices and promote the health & well-being of children across Wisconsin.
The University of Wisconsin–Madison School of Human Ecology and the Wisconsin Department of Children and Families are partnering to offer health consultation services and other educational resources for early care and education centers across Wisconsin. We are grateful for the support of the Preschool Development Grant and the Roots & Wings Foundation.
